Eddie Rabbitt - I Love A Rainy Night / Short Road To Love

Description
Eddie Rabbitt’s 1980 single puts a little weather and a little yearning into the everyday romance of pop. “I Love A Rainy Night” and “Short Road To Love” bring two vivid titles together, inviting listeners into the kind of story-rich songwriting that has long made popular songs feel close to home. Rabbitt was a singer-songwriter, and that direct, personal tradition gives this release its natural center: a song can turn a passing mood or a brief stretch of road into something worth holding onto. Issued by Elektra as catalog E-47066, this United States 7-inch belongs to a moment when pop and rock shared an easy, conversational language.
