Edward Bear - Cachet County / Close Your Eyes

Description
A 1973 Canadian 7-inch single, Edward Bear’s “Cachet County” and “Close Your Eyes” bring two titles together in the concise, melodic world of pop rock. Edward Bear is a Canadian pop-rock group, and this release offers a small, inviting entry point into the era’s knack for pairing direct songcraft with the energy of rock. “Cachet County” leads the way, with “Close Your Eyes” completing the pairing; both titles reward being approached as songs in their own right rather than as mere sides of a single. Issued by Capitol as catalog number 3581, it captures pop rock in its compact, song-centered form.
