Elvin Bishop Featuring Mickey Thomas / Elvin Bishop - Spend Some Time / Sugar Dumplin'

Description
Elvin Bishop’s 1976 single brings two distinct credits together around the loose, roots-minded spirit of Southern rock. On “Spend Some Time,” Elvin Bishop Featuring Mickey Thomas takes the lead, while “Sugar Dumplin’” is credited to Elvin Bishop. That pairing gives the release its own small story: one artist, two song titles, and a musical world where blues-rock grit meets country-rock ease. Southern rock has always made room for blues phrasing and country’s open-road sensibility, letting both traditions shape its character without losing their separate roots. Issued in the USA by Capricorn Records as CPS 0266, this 7-inch single keeps that blend in focus.
