Elvin Bishop - Fooled Around And Fell In Love / Fooled Around And Fell In Love

Description
“Fooled Around And Fell In Love” carries the kind of plainspoken romantic turn that sits comfortably in the long tradition of American R&B: a confession that feels direct, unvarnished, and easy to hold onto. Elvin Bishop, a guitarist, brings the song to the center of this 1976 release, where its title appears on both sides. That repeated refrain gives the record a neat focus, while the mix of soul and rock around it points to music made for stories as much as groove. Issued by Capricorn Records as CPS 0252, this single keeps its attention on one enduring idea: love can arrive when you least expect it.
