Engelbert Humperdinck - And The Day Begins / This Moment In Time

Description
Engelbert Humperdinck brings a ballad singer’s sense of occasion to this 1978 single, where “And The Day Begins” and “This Moment In Time” give the record its two distinct points of focus. Ballads make room for a song to unfold at a human pace: a clear melody, a voice placed front and center, and a feeling allowed to linger rather than rush past. That tradition suits Humperdinck’s vocal-pop setting, with its emphasis on expressive delivery and memorable songcraft. This United States 7-inch single was issued by Epic as 8-50632, a compact 1978 release centered on two evocative titles.
