Engelbert Humperdinck - Love's In Need Of Love Today / After The Lovin'

Description
The 1978 Merry Lane single pairs “Love's In Need Of Love Today” with “After The Lovin',” bringing two distinct titles together in Engelbert Humperdinck’s pop repertoire. Humperdinck is a pop vocalist, and this release sits in the enduring tradition of the singer-led single: a named voice at the center, with each song given room to make its own impression. The American pressing carries catalog number 15 2372, a small but telling detail from a period when singles kept familiar songs moving between radio, record shops and home collections. Here, the pairing itself is the story: two titles, joined on one release in 1978.
