Eric Carmen - Hey Deanie / Change Of Heart

Description
Eric Carmen brings pop songwriting into the dance-minded world of late-70s disco on this 1978 single. “Hey Deanie” opens the story, with a title that turns a name into an invitation; “Change Of Heart” follows, setting a different phrase alongside it. The two sides make room for the era’s knack for pairing concise pop songs with a steady dance pulse, where a strong hook could travel from the radio to the dance floor. Issued by Arista as AS 0354, this 7-inch captures a moment when disco rhythms and pop craft were increasingly at home together. Carmen’s songs keep the focus on memorable titles and direct, accessible songwriting.
