Exile - There You Go / I'm Still Standing

Description
Exile brings two different kinds of resolve to this 1990 single: “There You Go” opens one door, while “I'm Still Standing” answers from the other side. The band’s country-pop and soft-rock setting sits in a tradition that lets plainspoken storytelling meet polished, melodic songwriting—music built to carry a feeling without dressing it up. Here, the paired titles give that directness a lively shape, moving from departure toward persistence without asking the listener to choose just one. Released on Arista as AS-2139 in the USA, it catches Exile at home in the crossover space where country warmth and adult contemporary craft meet.
