Femmes Fatales / St. Tropez - St. Tropez / Love Stealers

Description
Disco has always made room for a little theatre: a bright, restless pulse, a sense of motion, and the promise that the night can turn at any moment. Here, Femmes Fatales open with “St. Tropez,” then St. Tropez answer with “Love Stealers,” giving this 1982 single a neat exchange between two names and two sides of the dance-floor tradition. Soul’s expressive warmth and disco’s forward drive meet in the record’s shared world, where rhythm carries the story. Released in the USA by Destiny Records as D-2010, it captures a period when disco kept its groove alive through compact, carefully balanced singles.
