Fess Parker - Wedding Bell Calypso (Man Talk Too Much) / A Hole In The Sky

Description
“Wedding Bell Calypso (Man Talk Too Much)” gives Fess Parker a title that nods toward calypso’s long tradition of turning everyday subjects into playful, rhythmic songs. On the other side, “A Hole In The Sky” offers a strikingly different phrase, inviting curiosity without giving away its own story. Parker was an actor as well as a singer, and this Disneyland release, F-49, brings those two sides together in a compact piece of mid-century popular song. Calypso’s lively verbal play has always made room for wit and social observation; here, the title alone sets that tradition in motion, while the companion song leaves its own question hanging.
