Fleetwood Mac - Tusk / Never Make Me Cry

Description
Fleetwood Mac make a bold turn on “Tusk,” a single that distills the restless spirit of late-’70s rock into a striking meeting of pop craft and adventure. Its title track shares the release with “Never Make Me Cry,” giving the record two distinct names to linger over without reducing either to a footnote. The group’s place in rock’s story rests partly on this knack for keeping polished songwriting open to surprise: familiar form, unsettled edges, and room for a song to take its own shape. Issued in 1979 on Warner Bros., catalog WBS 49077, this USA pressing captures that inventive moment in a compact 7-inch release.
