Force M.D.'s - Here I Go Again / Tender Love

Description
Tommy Boy’s 1985 single pairs Force M.D.'s with two tender sides: “Here I Go Again” and “Tender Love.” Rooted in soul and R&B, the music sits at a meeting point where expressive singing and the rhythms of hip hop-era pop could share the same space. Ballads in this tradition make room for feeling without losing their connection to the groove, and the pairing gives that approach two distinct titles to carry. Issued as Tommy Boy 7-21989 in the United States, it captures a moment when soul’s vocal warmth and contemporary R&B were finding fresh ways to speak to each other.
