Frank Stallone - Far From Over / Waking Up

Description
Frank Stallone’s 1983 7-inch single brings together “Far From Over” and “Waking Up,” a pairing rooted in the big-screen energy of soundtrack pop. “Far From Over” carries the title that made this release a familiar companion to the world of film, while “Waking Up” gives the record a second chapter to discover. Issued in the USA on Rso, catalog number 815 023-7, it sits at the meeting point of rock, disco and polished early-’80s pop. Soundtrack records often capture a moment when cinematic drama and radio-ready songwriting shared the same pulse; this one preserves that blend in two concise songs.
