Freddie Hart And The Heartbeats - Blue Christmas / I Believe In Santa Claus

Description
Freddie Hart And The Heartbeats bring “Blue Christmas” into the warm, plainspoken world of country holiday music, where seasonal songs can feel like stories shared close to home. Hart was a country singer, and the Bakersfield Sound’s directness gives this kind of Christmas record a sturdy place in the tradition: festive, but never far from everyday feeling. The flip side, “I Believe In Santa Claus,” turns toward the wonder at the heart of the season. Issued by Capitol as 3789 in 1973, the single pairs two familiar holiday themes with country’s gift for making a song feel personal. Christmas music lasts because it welcomes both longing and belief.
