Gary U.S. Bonds - Out Of Work / Bring Her Back

Description
Emi America’s 1982 single brings Gary U.S. Bonds to the heart of rock’s restless, working-life storytelling. “Out Of Work” puts its title squarely into a tradition where everyday pressures become the stuff of a sharp, memorable song, while “Bring Her Back” gives the release a second thread to follow. Bonds is a rock singer, and this pairing keeps the focus on the songs and the character carried in their titles rather than on grand claims. Issued as catalog B-8117, the record belongs to a period when rock could make ordinary troubles feel immediate and worth singing about.
