George Baker Selection - Dream Boat / Paloma Blanca

Description
George Baker Selection brings “Dream Boat” into the tender, story-shaped world of the pop ballad, where a melody can make a small moment feel like a whole journey. There’s a particular warmth in songs built to linger: clear vocals, an unhurried pace and a tune that invites you to stay with it. The Dutch group’s 1975 single pairs that mood with “Paloma Blanca,” a title that became familiar well beyond its first appearance. Released in Holland on Negram, catalog NG 496, it belongs to pop’s enduring tradition of songs that travel easily from one listener to the next. Both titles keep the focus on melody and feeling.
