George Baker Selection - Paloma Blanca / Dreamboat

Description
George Baker Selection leads with “Paloma Blanca,” a 1975 song set in the familiar, enduring world of the pop ballad. That tradition makes room for a clear melody and an intimate vocal, letting a song’s emotional shape come through without grand gestures. The title has an easy grace, while the ballad form gives it space to feel personal. Later, “Dreamboat” adds another thread to the pairing, its title sitting alongside the lead song without needing to compete for attention. Warner Bros. Records issued this United States pressing as WBS 8115. Together, the titles point to pop’s lasting gift: making a melody feel close and memorable.
