George Strait - Gone As A Girl Can Get / Faults And All

Description
Mca Records’ 1992 single brings George Strait’s country storytelling into two sharply titled songs: “Gone As A Girl Can Get” and “Faults And All.” Strait’s plainspoken approach belongs to a tradition that finds feeling in everyday language, where a carefully chosen phrase can carry the weight of a whole story. These titles suggest two different turns in matters of the heart, without needing grand gestures to make their point. That directness is part of country music’s enduring appeal: songs can be intimate and memorable at once. Issued as catalog number MCAS7-54379, this United States pressing keeps the focus on Strait’s gift for telling a story simply.
