Gidea Park - Seasons Of Gold / Lolita

Description
Gidea Park pair “Seasons Of Gold” with “Lolita” on this 1981 Profile single, catalog number PRO-6003, bringing a bright pop sensibility to disco and Hi-NRG territory. The early ’80s dance floor was a place where crisp, propulsive rhythms and memorable vocal hooks could make pop feel wonderfully kinetic, and this release sits in that lively tradition. Its two titles give the record a distinctive identity without needing to tell the same story twice: “Seasons Of Gold” opens the pairing, while “Lolita” completes it. A neat glimpse of the era’s meeting point between pop songcraft and club-minded energy.
