Gisele Mackenzie - Boston Fancy / Hard To Get

Description
Rca Victor’s 4X-0137 pairs Gisele Mackenzie with “Boston Fancy” and “Hard To Get,” two titles that bring a little character to this vocal pop single. Mackenzie was a singer, and the record sits in a tradition where a distinctive voice could carry a song’s personality as much as its melody. Pop of this kind thrives on the meeting of direct, memorable tunes and a performer’s individual touch; these contrasting titles give that pairing room to take shape without asking for any grand story around them. Mackenzie’s name is the thread linking both songs, while the titles leave their own mark on this compact release.
