Gladys Knight & The Pips - The Going Ups And The Coming Downs / Make Yours A Happy Home

Description
Gladys Knight & The Pips bring two sides of soul’s expressive heart to this 1976 single. “The Going Ups And The Coming Downs” carries a title that feels made for the everyday swings of life, while “Make Yours A Happy Home” turns toward the warmth and care that help people through them. Soul has always made room for both emotional candor and the uplift of a shared voice, giving personal feeling a generous, human scale. That balance is part of the music’s lasting appeal: tenderness and resilience can sit together without either losing its truth. Released on Buddah Records, this United States 7-inch single is catalog BDA 523.
