Greg Perry - I'll Be Comin Back / I'll Be Comin Back

Description
Greg Perry’s “I’ll Be Comin Back” appears on both sides of this 1975 seven-inch single, a neat invitation to spend time with one song and its place in the rich conversation between funk and soul. Perry is a soul singer, and that tradition has always made room for voices that can carry feeling with directness and warmth. Here, the title returns as the record turns, keeping the focus on the song itself rather than on a changing cast of tracks. Issued in the USA by Casablanca as NB 835, this single connects Perry’s name to a lasting strand of American soul: music built around the human voice and a groove.
