Greg Perry - Love Is Magic (Instrumental) / I'll Be Comin Back

Description
Greg Perry’s 1975 Casablanca single pairs “Love Is Magic (Instrumental)” with “I'll Be Comin Back,” bringing two distinct sides of funk and soul into focus. The instrumental title gives the release its own identity, while the second song adds a memorable contrast without needing the two to tell the same story. On Casablanca, catalog NB 835, this 7-inch belongs to a tradition built on compact songs, strong grooves and the expressive pull of soul. Funk and soul thrive on the balance between rhythmic drive and feeling; this pairing offers a neat way into that interplay, with Perry at the center of both titles.
