Hamilton Bohannon - Dance With Your Party / Foot Stompin Music

Description
“Dance With Your Party” and “Foot Stompin Music” bring two inviting titles together on Hamilton Bohannon’s 1975 Dakar single, DK 4544. Bohannon was a drummer, and that connection makes this a fitting entry into funk’s rhythmic heart: music built to give the beat room to lead and bodies a reason to move. Disco and funk meet in a tradition where the groove is more than a backdrop; it is the gathering place, carried forward through repetition, pulse and shared motion. Released in the USA, this 7-inch keeps its focus on the essentials: Bohannon, two memorable song titles and rhythm at the center.
