Hank Flamingo - Granddaddy's Place / White Lightnin'

Description
“Granddaddy's Place” brings a familiar country theme into focus: the pull of home, family, and the places that stay with us. Hank Flamingo pairs it here with “White Lightnin',” a title that carries its own place in country music’s fondness for vivid, memorable names. Together, the songs invite a little curiosity about how a single artist can meet the tradition from two different angles, without needing a grand story to make the pairing interesting. Issued by Giant as 7-18248 in 1994, this record belongs to country’s enduring world of concise songs and strong titles, where a few words can open the door to a much larger story.
