Helen Curry - Shu-Doo-Pa-Poo-Poop (Love Being Your Fool) / Such A Thrill I Feel (When You Hold My Hand)

Description
“Shu-Doo-Pa-Poo-Poop (Love Being Your Fool)” is a wonderfully bold title, and Helen Curry’s “Such A Thrill I Feel (When You Hold My Hand)” brings the other side of this Sweetheart single into view. Soul has long made room for direct feeling, close harmonies and the pulse of rhythm and blues, turning romance into something you can move to as well as sing. These two titles sit neatly in that tradition, with playful words on one side and an intimate declaration on the other. Issued as Sweetheart 28, this 7-inch brings Helen Curry’s name to a pair of love songs whose titles make no secret of their subject.
