For a little disco-soul drama, High Inergy bring two inviting titles together: “He’s A Pretender” and “Don’t Let Up On The Groove.” Disco thrives on the push between polished pop hooks and a steady, body-moving pulse, while funk gives that pulse a little extra snap; the pairing here puts both strands right in the frame.
