Hot Butter - Getting Off / Getting On

Description
Hot Butter bring “Getting Off” into the lively, groove-centered world of funk, where rhythm does more than keep time: it gives a tune its character and momentum. On this 1975 Dynamo single, D-6001, the title sets up a playful pair, with “Getting On” waiting on the flip side. Funk has always made room for direct, physical expression, balancing tight rhythmic drive with the freedom to let a groove breathe. That spirit gives these two titles an easy conversational charm, like opposite turns in the same exchange. Hot Butter leave us with a neat little reminder that in funk, even a change of direction can keep the music moving.
