Hot - Just Cause I'm Guilty / Angel In Your Arms

Description
“Just Cause I'm Guilty” and “Angel In Your Arms” meet on this 1976 single by Hot, with the two titles offering a neat point of entry into the era’s lively conversation between soul, funk, and disco. That blend could make room for a soulful vocal approach and a dance-minded pulse without losing the emotional directness at the heart of soul. Released in the United States on Big Tree Records as BL-16085, this 7-inch belongs to a moment when those styles readily crossed paths. The pairing invites a listener to linger over how one artist’s single could hold both sides of that musical dialogue.
