Jane Wiedlin - Rush Hour / The End Of Love

Description
Jane Wiedlin brings a bright, direct pop-rock sensibility to “Rush Hour,” a title that captures the bustle of everyday life without needing to spell anything out. Pop has always made room for the rush of a memorable refrain and the sharper edge of rock guitars; the pleasure is in how easily those impulses meet. “The End Of Love” gives this release a second title to linger over, while keeping the focus on Wiedlin’s own name and songs. Issued in 1988 as a 7-inch single in the United States, it appeared on Emi-Manhattan as B-50118. The pairing makes a neat little chapter in Wiedlin’s solo pop-rock story.
