Jesse Green - Nice & Slow / Nice & Slow

Description
A little disco glide goes a long way. Jamaican singer Jesse Green brings the warm pulse of funk and soul to “Nice & Slow,” a title that invites you to settle into the groove rather than rush past it. The track’s repeated appearance on both sides gives this 1976 single a focused, almost meditative shape: one song, held close and given room to linger. Issued by Scepter as SDJ-12424, it sits at the meeting point of disco’s dance-floor ease and soul’s expressive tradition. There’s a lovely idea in that title, too: sometimes the best way forward is simply to take your time.
