Jimmy Castor - Can't Help Falling In Love With You / Stay With Me (Spend The Night)

Description
Jimmy Castor brings two very different kinds of longing together on this 1980 single: “Can't Help Falling In Love With You” meets “Stay With Me (Spend The Night),” a pairing that moves from familiar romantic devotion to a more direct late-night invitation. Castor’s work sits in the lively territory of funk and soul, where dance-floor energy and heartfelt feeling have long made natural partners. That tradition gives these titles an appealing tension: tenderness on one side, intimacy on the other. Issued by Long Distance Records as LDR-702-S, the United States pressing captures a moment when soul could be both emotionally open and ready to move.
