Joe Diffie - Next Thing Smokin’ / I Just Don't Know

Description
“Next Thing Smokin’” and “I Just Don't Know” make an intriguing pair: one title suggests forward motion, the other a moment of uncertainty, leaving room for country music’s knack for holding confidence and vulnerability side by side. Joe Diffie brings a country artist’s perspective to this 1992 Epic single, released in the United States as catalog number 34-74415. The pairing sits comfortably in a tradition where a song can be direct and conversational yet carry more than one feeling at once. Diffie’s name anchors the release, while these two distinct titles invite listeners to consider how country storytelling makes space for both resolve and doubt.
