Joe Wilson - You Need Me / Other Side Of Your Mind

Description
Avco’s 1973 single brings Joe Wilson to the heart of a soulful story, pairing “You Need Me” with “Other Side Of Your Mind.” Soul has always made room for songs that turn intimate feelings into something shared: a direct voice, a steady pulse, and a melody that lets emotion speak plainly. Wilson’s two titles suggest a conversation shaped by closeness and reflection, without needing grand gestures to make their point. Issued as Avco AV-4609, this United States pressing belongs to a tradition in which personal sentiment and groove sit side by side. Its two song titles leave that human exchange at the center.
