John Blair - I'm A Wizard / We Belong Together

Description
Cti Records’ 1977 single brings John Blair into the disco-era conversation with “I'm A Wizard” and “We Belong Together.” Disco grew from funk and soul, carrying their rhythmic pull into dance music built around movement and connection. That meeting of traditions gives this release its place in a moment when the dance floor became a home for both groove and romance. The title “I'm A Wizard” sits alongside “We Belong Together” on OJ-38, a pairing that lets two memorable phrases stand on their own without needing a story imposed on them. John Blair’s name remains at the center of this concise piece of late-seventies disco history.
