John Mellencamp - Again Tonight / Get A Leg Up (Live)

Description
John Mellencamp brings “Again Tonight” to the front with the plainspoken urgency that has long made rock a natural home for stories of restless hearts and everyday choices. Southern rock’s rootsy blend of rock drive and American songcraft gives this 1991 release a sturdy sense of place, without dressing its emotions up. On the flip, “Get A Leg Up (Live)” turns the focus to the energy of performance, carrying the song into a different setting. Issued in the USA on Mercury, catalog number 866 414-7, the single keeps its attention on two sharply titled songs and Mellencamp’s direct connection to rock tradition.
