John Michael Montgomery - Rope The Moon / Friday At Five

Description
“Rope The Moon” and “Friday At Five” bring two songs together on John Michael Montgomery’s 1994 country single, released in the United States on Atlantic as 7-87248. Country music has long made room for both the intimate and the everyday: a story can reach for something large, then turn to the small markers of a working week. That contrast gives this pairing a natural sense of balance, with each title offering a different doorway into the song-centered tradition. Montgomery’s name sits at the heart of this release, where country’s enduring gift for connecting personal moments with familiar rhythms takes shape across two carefully chosen tracks.
