John Michael Montgomery - Rope The Moon / Friday At Five

Description
This 1994 Atlantic 7-inch single, catalog number 7-87248, pairs John Michael Montgomery’s “Rope The Moon” with “Friday At Five.” Montgomery is a country singer, and the two titles sit in a tradition where songs often make room for everyday hopes, plans and turning points. Country music has long found its stories in familiar details: a phrase someone remembers, a day on the calendar, a wish worth holding onto. Here, the title “Rope The Moon” shares the release with “Friday At Five,” giving the single two distinct names to carry into the listener’s own associations. It was pressed in the USA in 1994.
