John Michael Montgomery - Rope The Moon / Friday At Five

Description
Country music has a way of making everyday hopes feel large enough to sing about, and John Michael Montgomery brings that spirit to this 1994 single. On one side, “Rope The Moon” gives the record its striking title; turn it over for “Friday At Five,” a nod to the moment the workweek loosens its grip. The two songs sit together like different beats of ordinary life, where ambition and anticipation both matter. Issued by Atlantic as 7-87248, this USA pressing belongs to the enduring country tradition of finding memorable stories in familiar days and dreams.
