John Ragsdale - Head On Collision / Wake Up Darlin'

Description
A 1976 Ariola America single, catalog number 7641, brings John Ragsdale together with two titles that make a curious pairing: “Head On Collision” and “Wake Up Darlin'.” The contrast invites a closer look, while the music sits in the softer, lilting corner of pop, where a graceful melody and an easygoing touch can carry a song without crowding it. That tradition prizes clarity and charm, making room for a tune to settle in and linger. Ragsdale’s release belongs to that approachable pop world, with its gentle pull toward melody and an unhurried sense of pace. Pressed in the USA in 1976, it keeps both titles close at hand.
