John Stewart - Midnight Wind / Somewhere Down The Line

Description
John Stewart sets “Midnight Wind” at the center of this 1979 single, a record shaped by pop’s gift for making a song feel both personal and open to the road ahead. Pop rock often thrives in that balance: a direct melody, a little restless energy, and room for a story to linger after the last note. Stewart’s name belongs naturally in that tradition, where a familiar tune can still carry its own character. The flip side, “Somewhere Down The Line,” extends the record’s sense of onward motion. Issued in the USA on Rso as RS 1000, this is a small invitation to follow the song wherever it leads.
