John Stewart - Somewhere Down The Line / Midnight Wind

Description
A little pop-rock with room to roam: John Stewart’s “Somewhere Down The Line” and “Midnight Wind” make an inviting pairing on this 1979 U.S. single. Stewart is a singer-songwriter, and that tradition gives the record a natural point of connection: pop’s concise songcraft meeting rock’s open-road spirit. There’s something appealing in the way the titles sit together, one looking ahead and the other settling into the night, without needing to turn them into a story before the music has had its say. Issued by Rso as RS 1000, this release carries a modest pleasure: two named songs, ready to find their own paths with each listener.
