Johnnie Taylor - Just One Moment / It's September

Description
Johnnie Taylor brings the human pull of soul to both sides of this 1974 Stax Records single, where a song title can feel like the beginning of a story all by itself. “Just One Moment” sits opposite “It’s September,” a pairing that moves from a plea for time to a date marked on the calendar without asking either title to explain more than it says. Taylor was a soul singer, and that tradition has always made room for direct, everyday language to carry deep feeling. Issued in the USA as STN-0226, this 7-inch keeps two succinct titles together, each leaving its own space for a listener’s imagination.
