Jose Domingo - Motivos / Mentirosa

Description
Mericana Melody’s 1978 single brings Jose Domingo into the intimate world of the ballad, where a melody can carry the weight of a confession and a small turn of phrase can linger long after the song ends. “Motivos” and “Mentirosa” give this release its two distinct points of entry, with each title inviting its own story without needing to spell it out. Ballads thrive on that tension between direct feeling and restraint: they let a voice hold a moment open rather than hurry toward a conclusion. Issued in the USA as Mericana Melody MM-6643, this 7-inch preserves that enduring pull of a song built around emotion.
