Julio Francisco - El Mandilon / No Me Dejes

Description
Julio Francisco opens with “El Mandilon,” a title that brings the story straight to the front of this 1982 soundtrack single. Stage and screen music has a special knack for carrying a scene beyond its original setting: a melody can become a keepsake, tied to a character or moment even when the film is long gone. Here, that tradition meets the compact promise of a theme made to travel. “No Me Dejes” follows on the reverse, giving the record its second named scene. Issued on Olympico as OS 334, this promotional release preserves two titles from a soundtrack world where music helps a story linger.
