Klymaxx - The Men All Pause / Don't Hide Your Love

Description
Released in 1984, Klymaxx’s “The Men All Pause” and “Don't Hide Your Love” bring the group’s name to a 7-inch single from Constellation, catalog number MCA-52486. Klymaxx worked in funk and soul, and this release also sits in the electro tradition: a meeting of soul’s rhythmic drive with electronic textures and dance-floor pulse. That blend gives the record a place in the lively conversation between funk and electronic music, where groove remains central even as the palette changes. The two titles stand together as a concise expression of that crossover, rooted in the enduring pleasure of funk built around rhythm.
