Kool & The Gang - Bad Woman / Victory

Description
Mercury’s 1984 single pairs Kool & The Gang’s “Bad Woman” with “Victory,” drawing on the lively meeting of funk, soul and disco. Funk’s rhythmic drive and soul’s expressive warmth have long found common ground in dance music, where a steady pulse can carry both feeling and celebration. Disco brought that shared energy into a communal setting, making the groove itself part of the invitation. Here, the two titles sit within a musical tradition built for movement and connection, with the group credited as artist on the release. The United States pressing carries catalog number 888 074-7, a concise entry in the era’s dance-oriented soul.
