Kool & The Gang - Rollin' / Misled

Description
“Rollin’” and “Misled” bring two different shades of groove together on this 1984 single by Kool & The Gang. One title suggests motion, the other a turn toward uncertainty; together they make a striking pairing without needing to tell the same story twice. The group’s funk roots meet the polished pulse of disco and electro, with P.Funk’s playful, elastic spirit part of the wider musical conversation. De-Lite Records issued the release as catalog number 880 431-7, a compact meeting point for dance-floor rhythm and funk’s knack for keeping a groove in motion. That restless exchange is part of what makes funk so enduring.
