Lacy J. Dalton - Dixie Devil / Windin' Down

Description
Country music has always had room for the open road and the rough edges of everyday life, and Lacy J. Dalton brings that spirit to both sides of this 1983 single. “Dixie Devil” gives the record its first turn, while “Windin' Down” takes the other side; together, the titles suggest a welcome change of pace without needing to tell the same story twice. Dalton works in country music, where country rock can let traditional roots meet a more driving sensibility. Released in the United States on Columbia, catalog number 38-04133, this single carries that tradition into a distinctly early-1980s chapter.
