Leon Everette - Goodbye King Of Rock 'n' Roll / Where The Daisies Grow Wild

Description
“Goodbye King Of Rock 'n' Roll” sets a playful country crossroads in view, where a familiar rock-and-roll figure meets the storytelling spirit of a novelty song. Leon Everette brings that title into focus, then turns to “Where The Daisies Grow Wild,” a gentler country image that lets the record’s two contrasting titles speak to different sides of the genre’s imagination. Country music has long made room for humor and heart in the same breath, pairing memorable characters with open-country reverie. Issued by True Records Inc. as T-107 in 1977, this USA pressing holds onto that lively tradition: a little mischief can sit comfortably beside a pastoral daydream.
